Supporting university students
This project is a continuation of a long-term supporting and well-tried project backing up two medical-school undergraduates. As a result, we decided in 2014 to extend our support to university students. The missionaries know not only their previous schooling results, their motivations and conditions, but also their social situation which doesn’t allow those university students to pursue university education without external support. We support 14 students for the university year 2022/23.
One of them is Solange, a young girl being extremely gifted, coming from a large family, who started their medical-school studies at the University of Bangui in 2014/15. The other university studies include, for example, paramedical studies, designing clothes, economy or law. As not all of those fields of study include lectures in Bangui, some students go to universities in neighbouring countries.
SIRIRI contributes a sum of 14,200 EUR for the university year 2022/2023.
